Earned second-team All-GLVC honors last season as a midfielder...led the Miners in assists with four and also scored once in a victory over Missouri-St. Louis...transferred to S&T from Saint Louis University prior to the 2009 season...played in seven games at SLU over the two seasons he was there…is the all-time scoring leader at Ladue High School, where he netted a career-high 30 points on eight goals and 14 assists in his senior year...earned first-team all-state honors from the Missouri State High School Soccer Coaches Association and second-team All-Metro laurels from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch...earned two state titles while playing with the Lou Fusz Soccer Club in St. Louis.. participated in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) for three years, including in 2005 when he served as team captain for the `89 Region II pool team.

Personal: Son of Ed and Bev Kekec…attended Ladue (Horton Watkins) High School…majoring in mechanical engineering.
