Three-year letterwinner who is expected to contend for a starting role on the back line…played in all 15 games last season...started in 11 of the 18 games he appeared in during the 2008 campaign…earned a spot in the starting lineup as a freshman…saw the bulk of his playing time as a defender but could also play in the midfield…played two seasons of varsity soccer and earned first-team academic honors in each of his four prep seasons.
PERSONAL: Son of Bill and Patti Gravlin…older brother, Dan, also played for the Miners from 2004-07…attended St. Louis University High School…majoring in mechanical engineering.
