Biography

2009: Appeared in 29 games as a freshman and batted .164 with a home run and eight runs batted in…had his only multiple-hit game of the season in S&T’s win over Truman State with three hits in four at-bats…drove in a season-high four runs and hit his only homer of the season in a win at Rockhurst in the opening game of a series that the Miners won...earned a majority of his starts at second base or shortstop.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an all-state selection at the high school level and also earned second-team all-league honors in the Sunflower League…was a four-year letterwinner at Free State, he was part of the Kansas Class 6A state championship team in 2006 and was the most valuable player on his American Legion team.

PERSONAL: Son of David and Elizabeth Scheib…majoring in computer science.
