Biography

2009: Pitched in 16 games during the season, primarily in relief, where had a record of 0-2 with a 6.05 earned run average…made two starts, doing so against Missouri Southern and Northern Kentucky…had 14 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings on the mound…struck out at least one hitter in 10 of his 16 outings.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played at Henry Ford Community College, where he posted a 2-4 record with a 6.09 earned run average last season…pitched 31 innings and struck out 13 hitters.

HIGH SCHOOL: Versatile player who played four different positions at Inter-City Baptist High School…was a four-time all-league selection and an all-region academic selection.

PERSONAL: Son of Victory and Mary Lambert…majoring in mechanical engineering.
