Biography

2009: Started in 34 of the 47 games he appeared in, primarily at second base…hit .298 with 12 runs batted in…also stole two bases…had nine multiple-hit games during the year…drove in three runs in an early season victory over Henderson State.

2008: Started in 23 of the 28 games he appeared in…started the majority of the time at second base but also made starts at shortstop…batted .269 with seven runs batted in and two stolen bases…had three hits against Northern Kentucky…drove in two runs in a victory over Truman State.

2007: Redshirted for the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a second-team all-conference selection while playing at Central Catholic High School in Bloomington, Ill.

PERSONAL: Son of Tom and Marci Joseph…majoring in mathematics.
