Biography
2021: Selected to the All-GLVC second team after finishing the season with 29 tackles, four tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks...also had a forced fumble during the year...had a season-high four tackles against South Dakota Mines, Wayne State (Neb.) and William Jewell...had sacks against William Jewell and Southwest Baptist...member of GLVC All-Academic team.
2020: Named honorable mention All-GLVC...recorded six tackles, including one for a loss and added two pass breakups...had five tackles against William Jewell...member of GLVC All-Academic team.
2019: Recorded 14 tackles during the year that included seven solo stops and 2.5 tackles for a loss...also had a combined quarterback sack during the year...had a season-high two tackles in six different contests.
2018: Had 14 tackles during the season which included four solo stops...had a season-high three tackles and a quarterback sack against Drake, as well as a sack against Lincoln...named to the GLVC All-Academic team.
2017: Redshirted for the 2017 season.
High School: Earned first-team all-conference honors in the Suburban West American Conference following the 2016 season, as he finished with 47 tackles, 10 for lost yardage and three sacks…had 40 tackles, including five for a loss, during his junior season.
Personal: Attended Lafayette High School, where his coach was Boyd Manne...son of Rick and Gayle Preckel...majoring in civil engineering at MissourI S&T.
