Biography

2021-22:Had the squad's fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle(20.70), 100-yard freestyle at the NCAA Tournament(44.93), 200-yard freestyle (1:37.33)... Also participated in the 500-yard freestyle… Was a part of the 200-yard freestyle race in the GLVC tournament… Placed 17th at the NCAA tournament in the 400-yard freestyle relay, 10th in the 800-yard freestyle relay, swam the fastest leg while swimming a 1:36.23… Finished with a school record in the 200-yard medley relay during the NCAA tournament by swimming 1:27.19 and placing 7th.

2020-21: Finished third in the 200-yard freestyle at the GLVC Championships and was also part of four relay teams that placed among the top five...had top times of 20.94 in the 50-yard freestyle, 45.36 in the 100-freestyle and a team-best 1:37.99 in the 200-free that earned him his third place finish...reached NCAA Division II B-cuts in the 100- and 200-free...member of GLVC All-Academic team.

2019-20: Earned scoring marks in five events for the Miners at the GLVC Championships, headed by a third place finish in the 200-yard freestyle...also placed fourth as part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team and fifth in the 400-yard freestyle relay...also scored in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke, where he had top marks of 50.77 seconds and 1:49.57, respectively...posted times of 20.99 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle, 46.50 in the 100-free and a team-best 1:38.36 in his third place showing at the conference meet in the 200-freestyle.

PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Allison Wiedemeier…competed at West Monroe High School, where he was a state champion in Louisiana in the 50-yard freestyle and an eight-time Red River Conference champion…named as the conference swimmer of the year in 2018 and holds two conference records…majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
