2022-23: Earned All-America honors as part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that finished 13th at the NCAA Division II Championships...finished 10th in the 1,000-yard freestyle, 15th in the 500-freestyle and 16th in the 1,650-free...had top times of 4:35.75 in the 500, 9:27.94 in the 1,000 and 16:09.85 in the 1,650...was on S&T's fourth place team in the 800-yard freestyle relay...member of GLVC All-Academic and CSCAA Scholar All-America teams.

2021-22: Competed in the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard butterfly, and the 400-yard individual medley… Had the top squad time in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:17.85… Raced the 1,650-yard freestyle in the NCAA Division 2 Swimming Championships, finishing with a time of 15:56.10… Finished with a time of 4:33.54 in the 500-yard freestyle during Nationals…Named to GLVC Academic All- Conference.

2020-21: Had three finishes among the top 16 at the GLVC Championships in his first season as a Miner...highest finish was ninth in the 500-yard freestyle as he posted a time of 4:30.68...also finished 11th in the 1,650-freestyle in 15:55.50 and 14th in the 1,000-freestyle in 9:28.72...reached the NCAA Division II B-cut standard in all three of those events...named to the GLVC All-Academic team and also received the Br. James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award.

PERSONAL: Son of Hakan Melinder...competed at Vasby Nya Gymnasium in Upplands Vasby, Sweden...finished second in the 800-meter freestyle at the Swedish Junior Nationals... posted a time of 1:54.73 in the 200-meter freestyle in a short course pool...has also competed in the butterfly, where he has times of 2:10.99 in the 200-meter event and 1:02.60 in the 100-meter butterfly in a long course pool and in the individual medley, with times of 2:09.91 over 200-meters in a short course setting and 4:46.44 in the 400-meter individual medley in a long course...majoring in electrical engineering at Missouri S&T.
