Biography

2008-09: Redshirted for the season after suffering an injury in the pre-season at Southeast Missouri State. 
2007-08 (SOUTHEAST MISSOURI STATE): Played in 25 games and started in three…averaged 2.2 points per game, 1.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists…had Southeast Missouri State’s top assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.8…finished the year with 42 assists and 27 steals…shot 37.5 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from three-point range and 69 percent from the foul line…posted his career scoring high of 12 points in Southeast’s triple overtime win over Austin Peay that was shown nationally on ESPNU; scored seven of his points in the third overtime session…also recorded his career rebounding high in that game with seven.
AT SEWARD COUNTY: Played in every game during his two-year career as a point guard at Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kan….averaged nine points, four assists and 2.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore for the team that advanced to the NJCAA Region VI Tournament quarterfinals…shot 48 percent from the field, 30 percent from three-point range and 74 percent at the line during his sophomore season…had a career-high 27 points with six boards, two assists and two steals in Seward’s opening round win over Independence Community College at the NJCAA Region VI Tournament…averaged 5.3 points, 1.5 assists and 1.4 rebounds per game as a freshman while shooting 76% from the free throw line, with 47 assists and 24 steals. 
PREP: Earned second team All-Centennial League and all-city laurels as a senior at Highland Park High School in Topeka, Kan....was a third-team 5A all-state selection in 2004-05...named as the Centennial League Defensive Player of the Year…averaged 13 points, six assists, four rebounds and one steal per game as a senior...named most valuable player of Leavenworth Invitational Tournament and part of all-tournament team after scoring 29 points in the 2005 championship game...played in Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game in July 2005… averaged 13 points as a junior while leading team to 5A state championship.. two-time all-state triple jumper in track and field…high school coach, Ken Darting, is the father of former Miner guard Kerry Darting.
PERSONAL: Son of Hank and Angie Harris...is a graduate student in Missouri S&T’s MBA program.
