Biography
2008-09: Averaged 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on the season…did not appear until the Miners’ 11th game of the season, but averaged nearly 22 minutes in the 14 games he saw playing time in…scored in double figures four times, with a high of 13 in the win at Missouri-St. Louis…had a season-best 10 rebounds in the return match with UMSL that the Miners also won…scored eight games in his first game back with the Miners (Jan. 4 vs. Quincy) after missing all of the 2007-08 season and the early part of 2008-09…shot 41.2 percent from the floor, 50 percent from three-point range and 83.3 percent at the line…added 10 assists, seven blocked shots and five steals.
2007-08: Did not play due to an injury.
2006-07: Appeared in 24 games and averaged 8.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest…shot 43.6 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range and 80.6 percent at the line…had seven double figure scoring performances, led by 19-point efforts against Indianapolis and Quincy…recorded his first career double-double with 16 points and a season-high 13 rebounds against St. Louis Pharmacy…had three games with double figures in rebounds…finished the season by making his final 17 free throw attempts.
2005-06: Did not play due to an injury.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 16.4 points and 10 rebounds per game at Oakville High School, where he was a first-team all-league selection in the Suburban West Conference... named honorable mention all-metro St. Louis following the 2004-05 season and took part in the Route 66 all-star game played at S&T...shot 51 percent from the field and 71 percent at the free throw line, while adding 30 blocked shots and 25 steals...averaged 12 points and six rebounds in his junior year while playing at Parkway West High School as that team went 23-5...earned academic all-state honors and was selected as his school’s Post-Dispatch scholar-athlete for the year...was the valedictorian of his senior class.
