Biography

2024: Appeared in 27 games with 14 starts…had a season-best batting performance against Southwest Baptist on March 22nd, going 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs…ended the season with 10 hits, 4 runs, and 7 RBIs…made the GLVC All-Academic team…was a recipient of the Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar award and the Council of Presidents’ Academic Excellence award.

2023: Played in 34 contests and made 29 starts...batted .220 during the year in 82 at-bats with two doubles and seven runs batted in...also recorded two stolen bases...had three multiple-hit games during the year, including a three-hit game with an RBI in a win over Illinois Springfield...member of GLVC All-Academic team and named as a Fr. James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar. 

2022: Appeared in 43 games and made 42 starts… recorded 13 starts at second and 25 at the catching position… batted .250 with 28 hits, six runs scored and 12 runs batted in…had four multi-hit games with her longest hitting streak of five games through the weeks of Feb. 20-27 ... went two-of-two against Tiffin with one RBI … caught all 11 innings in a win against Quincy University...Named to GLVC Academic All-Conference as well as GLVC Brother James Gaffney distinguished scholar finishing the academic year with a 4.0.

2021: Appeared in 17 games and made 20 starts...Batted .239 with a double, home run, six RBI and six runs scored...4-4 on stolen base attempts...Recorded thee multi-hit games...Went deep and drove in three runs against Truman (3/12)...Had four-game hitting streak from 3/7-3/20.

High School: Earned her team's Silver Slugger and Golden Glove awards...belted nine home runs at the prep level with a career batting average of .415...had 88 hits and drove in 59 runs.

Personal: Daughter of Clayton and Cherri Saltijeral...majoring in business and management systems.
