2021-22: Competed in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 1,000-yard freestyle, 1,650-yard freestyle, and second fast squad time in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:31.24, the time was fast enough to be a NCAA Division 2 provisional qualifying time…Named to GLVC Academic All- Conference

2020-21: Finished eighth in the 500-yard freestyle at the GLVC Championships with a season-best time of 4:30.49, which was also good for an NCAA Division II B-cut...added a 16th place performance in the 1,650-freestyle in 16:26.74...also had top times of 48.32 in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:40.35 in the 200-free,

AT IOWA CENTRAL: Was part of the national championship team at the junior college level in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the NJCAA Championships in 2020...swam the third leg of that relay in a time of 47.63 seconds; team won the race by just over two seconds...placed second in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:41.21, third in the 500-yard freestyle in 4:33.99, finished fifth in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 9:14.43 and seventh in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 16:24.90...was part of the national runner-up teams in the 400-yard medley relay and 800-yard freestyle relay...team finished third at the 2020 NJCAA Championships...posted career-best times in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races, while recording times of 9:36.05 in the 1,000-yard freestyle at the 2019 national championship meet at the junior college level and a mark of 16:02.71 in the 1,650-freestyle earlier in that season...placed third in 1,000-freestyle at the 2019 NJCAA meet, along with finishes of fifth in the 1,650-freestyle, sixth in the 500-free and eighth in the 200-freestyle.

PERSONAL: Son of Marcelo Ataide and Renata Busch...competed at Colegio Ateneu in Sao Caetano do Sul, Brazil...majoring in electrical engineering at Missouri S&T.
