2021-22: Was top three in the 50-yard freestyle posting a time of 20.91 and had the second fastest time in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 44.95… Was also a part of the 400-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard freestyle, and the 400-yard medley relay placing 14th at the NCAA tournament, all being NCAA Division 2 provisional qualifying times…Named to GLVC Academic All- Conference

2020-21: Competed in the spring freestyle events during his first season at S&T...had top marks of 21.22 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle, 46.17 in the 100-freestyle and 1:43.24 in the 200-free...member of GLVC All-Academic team and recipient of the Br. James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award.

PERSONAL: Son of Wagner and Cleonice Asevedo...competed at Canadian International School, competed in the sprint freestyle events and has posted times of 21.4 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle and 23.89 seconds in the 50-meter freestyle in short course pools, as well as a 45.6 mark in the 100-yard freestyle and 51.34 in the 100-meter freestyle...was a national finalist in Singapore, FINA World Cup qualifier and champion in the Athletic Conference of Singapore international schools...competed for the Huskies Swim Club...majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
