2021-22: Competed in the 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard butterfly, 200-yard individual medley and 400-yard individual medley… Place 14th at the GLVC tournament in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:01.24… Named to GLVC Academic All- Conference…Named a GLVC Brother James Daphne distinguished scholar finishing the year with a 4.0.

2020-21: Scored in two events at the GLVC Championships...took ninth place in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:50.54 and also finished ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:02.95...reached the NCAA Division II B-cut standard in the 200-IM...member of GLVC All-Academic team.

2019-20: Had a pair of scoring performances at the GLVC Championships...won the consolation final in the 400-yard individual medley with a season-best time of 3:57.11, while also finishing 13th in the 200-IM with a time of 1:51.59...also swam in the breaststroke events, where he had seasonal-best marks of 56.97 seconds over 100 yards and 2:07.25 in the 200-breaststroke...also recorded a 52.54 in the 100-yard butterfly early in the season.

PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Kathy Matlock…competed at Richwoods High School, where he finished sixth at the Illinois State Championships in the 200-yard individual medley…was a National Merit Scholar and was named as the school’s “Athlete of the Year”…majoring in aerospace engineering at Missouri S&T.
