Biography
2022: Finished third in the triple jump at the GLVC Indoor Championships with a season-best mark of 47-1 1/2, then finished sixth outdoors with a mark of 44-2...had his best outdoor performance of the season in the Miner Invitational of 47-9.
2021: Finished second in the high jump and fourth in the triple jump at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...had a personal-best clearance of 6-8 1/4 in the high jump and posted a mark of 48-8 1/4 in the triple jump that set a new school record...also had a top mark on the year of 21-9 in the long jump.
2020: Placed fourth in the triple jump at the GLVC Indoor Championships with a mark of 46-7 1/2...had a season-best leap of 21-4 in the long jump at the season-opening meet at Missouri and cleared 6-6 3/4 in the high jump at that same meet to establish a seasonal best.
2019: Earned a second place finish in the triple jump and a fourth in the high jump at the GLVC Indoor Championships…had top marks of 14.23 meters in the triple jump and 2.01 meters in the high jump during the campaign…followed up with a fourth place showing in the high jump and seventh in the triple jump at the conference’s outdoor meet…had a top clearance of 1.95 meters in the high jump and mark of 14.04 meters in the long jump.
PERSONAL: Son of Eric and Jennifer Jones…attended Ruskin High School…majoring in aerospace engineering at Missouri S&T.
