Biography

2018: Played in 25 games and made 24 starts at catcher…batted .228 with four runs batted in…posted a .343 on-base percentage…only multiple-hit game of the season came in the GLVC Tournament win over McKendree…committed only two errors in 113 chances defensively.

2017: Batted .105 in 19 at-bats during the season…also had one run batted in in a victory over Lincoln…committed only one error in 32 chances in the field.

2016: King appeared in 10 games with seven starts as a freshman recording four hits in 19 at-bats with two RBIs and a run scored...ended the season on a three-game hitting streak...she picked up her first collegiate hit at McKendree on April 17...she hit .231 with runners on base and .286 with runners in scoring position.

High School: King played at Fort Zumwalt North High School where she batted .476 with three home runs, 11 doubles and 27 runs batted in...she had an on-base percentage of .546 and a slugging percentage of .714...her high school coach was Steve Siebert and she was a middle infielder and catcher.

Personal: Daughter of Gary and Kim King and is majoring in chemical engineering.
