2018-19: Earned All-America honors as part of two relay teams at the NCAA Division II Championships...was part of the fifth place team in the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 200-freestyle relay that placed seventh...earned second-team All-GLVC honors after finishing second in the 50-yard freestyle and as part of the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays...also scored for S&T in the 100-freestyle, 100-butterfly and 400-freestyle relay...recorded the Miners' fastest time of the season in the 50-freestyle of 19.94 seconds...also had times of 44.63 in the 100-freestyle and 49.64 in the 100-butterfly.

2017-18: Earned All-America honors as part of the Miners' 400-yard freestyle relay team at the NCAA Division II Championships...finished third in the 50-yard freestyle at the GLVC Championships and also scored in the 100-freestyle and 100-butterfly...had the Miners' fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle of 20.31, which came at the GLVC meet...also had a best mark of 47.11 in the 100-freestyle and 49.97 in the 100-butterfly, as well as being part of three relay teams that recorded the team's best time on the season.

2016-17: Earned second-team All-GLVC honors as part of the Miners’ 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished second at the conference meet…posted a 20.77 split in the opening leg of that race and had a top 50-yard freestyle time of 20.56…also placed eighth in the 50-yard freestyle and scored in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-freestyle and 400-medley and freestyle relays…recorded top times of 46.06 in the 100-freestyle and 50.73 in the 100-butterfly.

PERSONAL: Son of Joan and Erin Betts…competed in the sprint freestyle and butterfly events, where he was the 36^th-ranked swimmer in the state by CollegeSwimming.com…was a two-time state champion at the high school level and earned six All-America awards during his prep career…posted a time of 21.16 to win the B-final in the event at the 2015 state championships…was also a key component in the Cinco Ranch relays at the Texas State Championships, helping lead the squad to a second place finish in the 200-yard medley relays and fourth place finishes in the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays…majoring in chemical engineering at Missouri S&T.
