Transfer to the Missouri S&T program who is expected to compete for playing time at a midfield spot...has spent the last four academic years at North Carolina State...was an all-state performer as a junior and senior in high school and earned first-team all-conference honors for three straight seasons... played on a number of elite club teams in Nebraska, including Viva-Arsenal Juventus and in Maryland with the Baltimore Bays...latter team was a semifinalist at the Snickers Competition at the U.S. Region II Tournament in 2002 and U.S. Region I event in 2004.
Personal: Son of Wil and Martha Solano...attended Parkside High School in Salisbury, Md. ...majoring in engineering management.
