Biography
Returning starter at the linebacker position…recorded 29 tackles, including 21 solo stops, prior to his season being cut short due to a season-ending injury midway through the year…had a season-high 10 tackles against Truman State…returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown in the opening minute of the season for the Miners’ first score of the 2016 campaign…had 2.5 tackles for a loss and two pass breakups…completed the 2015 campaign with 60 tackles, 42 of them solo, along with 7.5 tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles...had a season-best 11 tackles in the win over McKendree...had a pass interception against Lincoln...played on special teams and in the secondary in 2014 after being redshirted for the 2013 season...earned first-team all-state and all-conference honors at the linebacker position for a powerful program in southwest Missouri that has captured the last three Missouri Class 4 state championships…had 71 tackles and an interception for the undefeated Cardinals in 2012 after recording 93 tackles and two interceptions in his junior year.
