2018-19: Scored in two events for S&T at the GLVC Championships, finishing eighth in the 200-yard backstroke and 11th in the 100-back...posted top times of 50.41 seconds in the 100-backstroke, 1:49.20 in the 200-back, 22.31 in the 100-freestyle and 51.27 seconds in the 100-butterfly.

2017-18: Placed seventh in the 200-yard backstroke and eighth in the 100-yard backstroke at the GLVC Championships...best times of the season were 49.94 seconds in the 100-backstroke, 1:48.52 in the 200-backstroke, 52.29 in the 100-butterfly and 1:58.19 in the 200-fly.

2016-17: Finished fifth in the 200-yard backstroke at the GLVC Championships…also scored in the 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard butterfly at the conference meet…had the Miners’ top time of the season in the 200-backstroke of 1:48.02…also recorded times of 50.67 in the 100-backstroke, 50.87 in the 100-butterfly and 1:52.98 in the 200-butterfly.

PERSONAL: Son of Roger and Joie Friesz…swam in the butterfly and backstroke events, where he placed fourth in the Texas 5A state meet in the 100-yard events in both strokes…had top times of 51.39 seconds in the 100-backstroke and 1:54.57 in the 200-yard events, while recording a top mark of 51.26 in the 100-butterfly…majoring in chemical engineering at Missouri S&T.
