Returns for his senior season with the Miners as the team's current career scoring leader...had two goals and an assist in the 2009 campaign...scored with 45 seconds remaining in regulation time to give S&T a 2-1 win over Maryville...also scored against Kentucky Wesleyan...tied for the team lead in goals with four in the 2008 season…scored two of the goals – both on penalty kicks – in S&T’s win over Kentucky Wesleyan…also tallied goals against Ashland and Drury…added two assists to finish with a team-high 10 points on the year…had his first season with the Miners cut short due to an injury in 2007…appeared in four games and posted two assists…will compete for a midfield spot…transferring to UMR from Lindenwood University after a successful high school career in Mexico…was part of a national championship team.

Personal: Son of Mario and Alicia Calderon…attended ITESM High School in Mexico City…majoring in aerospace and mechanical engineering.
