HIGH SCHOOL: Had a decorated career at Carbondale, where he finished as the school's eighth-leading career scorer with 1,411 points which included 561 in the 2014-15 season, the 11^th-highest single season total in school history…made 115 three-point shots in his high school career and was also among the school's top free throw shooters at 74 percent over his four seasons with the Terriers…a four-year starter, Billinger was named as the Southern Illinoisan's "Player of the Year" following a senior season in which he averaged 18 points, four rebounds and three steals per game while hitting nearly 80 percent of his free throw attempts…was named to the all-state and all-region team by the Southern Illinois Coaches Association in each of his last two seasons -- third team all-state in 2015 after being named honorable mention as a junior – and made numerous all-tournament teams throughout his career, including most valuable player honors in two tourneys during the past year…team won 67 games in his final three years of high school after winning just seven during his freshman campaign. 

PERSONAL: Son of Joseph, Sr., and Gurine Billinger…attended Carbondale High School, where his coach was Jim Miller…majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
