Biography

2009: Earned second-team All-GLVC honors following a season in which he posted a record of 6-3 with a team-best 3.18 earned run average...also led the Miners in strikeouts with 78 in 82 innings of work, both of which set S&T single season records...strikeout total was tied for fifth in the GLVC in 2009...pitched a nine-inning complete game with nine strikeouts against Indianapolis to start a run of wins in four straight decisions...also beat Central Oklahoma with a complete game with 10 strikeouts in that run while also posting wins over Quincy and Drury...struck out a career-high 11 in 7 1/3 innings against Drury, a game the Miners would end up winning 2-1...also recorded wins over Rockhurst and Northern Kentucky, the latter being a win in relief...walked only 23 hitters during the year and held opposing hitters to a .233 batting average...gave up just 71 hits in the 82 innings he threw.

2008: Was one of the top pitchers in the GLVC during the year…finished with a 4-4 record and a 3.71 earned run average…threw 60 2/3 innings, second on the staff, while striking out a team-high 62 hitters…had one complete game among his 10 starts…opposing hitters batted .286 against him during the year….fanned a season-high 10 in his complete game effort against Indianapolis…struck out at least seven batters in five of his 10 starts…posted wins over Indianapolis, Drury, Quincy and Missouri-St. Louis…had a 2.8 strikeout to walk ratio as he struck out 9.2 batters per nine innings.

2007: Appeared in six games on the mound, recording an 0-1 record and 6.75 earned run average…struck out five in the eight innings he worked.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for the Niagara Rebels baseball club in Canada...was one of the top pitchers for that team...also played for the Canadian Thunderbirds.

PERSONAL: Son of James Page and Marguerite Spicuzza-Page...majoring in business.
