AT LEWIS & CLARK: Batted .350 with six home runs and 19 runs batted in during the 2008 season at Lewis & Clark Community College…had 14 of his 42 hits on the season go for extra bases…hit .286 during his freshman season with a home run and five RBI.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Jersey Community High School in Jerseyville, Ill….batted .367 in his senior year with 12 runs batted in…scored a team-high 33 runs and posted a .483 on-base percentage.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 1, 1987 in Alton, Ill.…son of Bill and Angie Grundmann…majoring in civil engineering.
