Biography
2010: Had top marks of 47-9 3/4 in the indoor shot put and 50-7 in the weight throw...had a seventh place showing in the weight throw at the GLVC Indoor Championships...best outdoor performances were 46-3 1/4 in the shot, 129-2 in the discus and 151-4 in the hammer throw...was eighth in the hammer throw at the GLVC's outdoor meet.
2009: Posted three scoring finishes at the GLVC Championships during the season...highest finish was a fifth place showing in the shot put at the league's outdoor meet with a mark of 47-7 3/4...also took seventh in the indoor shot put at the GLVC meet at 46-9 1/2 and in the weight throw at 49-9...secured his best performance in the hammer throw at S&T's Dewey Allgood Invitational with a mark of 147-4.
2008: Finished sixth at the GLVC Indoor Championships in the shot put with a seasonal-best mark of 46-2 3/4…also posted a top mark of 41-5 3/4 in the weight throw during the indoor campaign…had top outdoor performances of 45-7 1/4 in the shot put, 122-11 in the discus and 125-10 in the hammer throw.
HIGH SCHOOL: Finished among the top seven in the shot put at the last two Missouri Class 2 state meets…recorded a seventh place finish in 2007 after finishing sixth as a junior…earned all-conference honors during his career at St. Paul Lutheran…established school records in the shot put (50-0 1/4) and discus (142-0) in his prep career.
PERSONAL: Son of Art and Susan Jaster...attended St. Paul Lutheran High School...majoring in metallurgical engineering.
