Biography

2014: Michaelis started all 47 games leading the team in hits (54), RBIs (25) and triples (5). She also finished tied for the team lead in home runs (3) and hitting with a .333 batting average. She finished the year with a slugging percentage of .488 and had an on-base percentage of .347 and was 10-for-12 in stolen bases. She had a career-high five RBIs in the second game against Drury on April 22 going 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and a run scored. She was a second team All-GLVC West selection.

2013: Michaelis played in 36 games and made 33 starts...she hit .302 with 26 hits, 13 runs scored, 10 RBIs, five doubles, three home runs and was 6-for-7 in stolen bases...finished the season with a slugging percentage of .465 and an on-base percentage of .351...she had three multi-hit games and two multi-RBI contests...had a season-high three hits against Quincy on March 29...she had two hits and three RBIs in the win against Rockhurst on April 20...she hit .308 with the bases empty and .308 with runners on-base...she hit .371 with two outs and .333 with runners in scoring position...she drove in six runs with two outs...she also hit .304 as a lead-off hitter.

2012: Michaelis appeared in 46 games with 33 starts last season hitting .245 with three home runs, five doubles, 13 RBIs and scored 21 runs...she finished the season with five multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games...she hit her first collegiate home run against Missouri-St. Louis on April 6 in the first game of a doubleheader...her second came a day later against Maryville...her third roundtripper was a grand slam at Rockhurst on April 22...she received 19 free passes on the season and was 9 for 11 in stolen bases...she scored the game winning runs against Central Missouri (3/7) and Lindenwood (3/28)...she hit .286 with runners in scoring position and drove in nine runs with two outs.

High School: Michaelis, a catcher and outfielder, played at Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa. She was a first-team all-state, all-conference, all-district and all-area selection. Michaelis was voted as the team's most valuable player and best offensive player.

Personal: Daughter of David and Jana Michaelis...majoring in engineering.
