Biography
Appeared in 13 games and made five starts during the 2013 season as a defender...started in all 16 Miner games in 2012, one of only three players to start in every contest....played at a wing defender and took one shot...started 13 of the 14 games he appeared in during his freshman season in 2011…had one assist on the year which came in the victory over Bellarmine...expected to compete for playing time along the back line...was the Missouri Class 1 “Defensive Player of the Year” during the 2010 season, as he earned all-state honors in helping Springfield Catholic reach the state championship game...was named to the all-district and all-Ozarks team as well.
Personal: Attended Springfield Catholic High School...son of Dean and Carol Arens...majoring in geological engineering.
