Saw playing time in five games in his first season at S&T...completed 62-of-116 passes for 819 yards and five touchdowns...threw for 380 yards in his Miner debut at Chadron State -- the second-most by a Miner quarterback in his first game with the team -- and three touchdowns...transfer from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M who will play at quarterback...played in six games in 2013 and completed five-of-13 passes for 59 yards and a touchdown...was named honorable mention all-state following his senior year of high school in Oklahoma.

Personal: Attended Owasso High School, where his coach was Bill Patterson...son of Scott and Julie Key...majoring in business at Missouri S&T.
