Earned first-team All-GLVC honors following the 2013 season…is the only returner among the three first-team selections from the Miner roster last season…made 42 tackles, 31 unassisted, from his cornerback position and led the GLVC with 22 pass breakups…also had an interception and two quarterback sacks, while recording a season-high seven tackles against Kentucky Wesleyan and Quincy…his interception came late in the Miners’ one-point victory over Saint Joseph’s, a win that helped the Miners finish in a tie for second with the Pumas in the GLVC standings...finished with 13 tackles a year ago, 10 of which were solo stops…also had an interception at McKendree and recorded five pass breakups…had a season-high four tackles in the win at Saint Joseph’s...sat out the 2011 season…will compete for a role in the secondary… recorded 15 tackles (11 solo) during the 2009 campaign, the last in which he played at S&T…was redshirted in 2008…was selected as the defensive most valuable player on his high school team following the 2007 season and was named honorable mention all-conference in the Suburban North Conference…was also the recipient of the school’s academic achiever award.

Personal: Attended Hazelwood West High School, where his coach was Keith Herring…son of Anissa Washington and William Brown and step-parents Marilyn Brown and Carl Washington…majoring in engineering management at S&T.
