Biography
2012: Competed in the middle distance events, posting top outdoor times of 2:33.45 in the 800-meters and 5:04.78 in the 1,500-meters...best indoor marks were 5:27.73 in the mile, which was the best time of the season for the Lady Miners.
2011: Competed in the distance events as a freshman, posting top indoor marks of 6:00.03 in the mile and 11:55.06 in the 3,000-meters.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in the distance events at the high school level, setting a school record in the two-mile run with a time of 11:44...also posted a time of 19:45 in the 5,000-meters as she earned all-metro and all-Olathe honors in cross country...was an academic all-state selection.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Don and Donna Ellis...attended Olathe East High School...majoring in engineering management and mechanical engineering.
