2013-14: Earned All-America honors as part of the Miners’ 200- and 800-yard freestyle relay teams in the 2013-14 season…S&T’s 800-free relay finished second overall at the national meet…was the anchor for the 200-free relay…
Was part of the consolation championship team in the 400-yard freestyle relay at nationals and competed in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle events at the national meet…was part of all three GLVC championship freestyle relay teams…recorded the Miners’ top time in the 100-yard breaststroke during the season of 55.03 seconds…also had top marks of 20.72 in the 50-free, 45.53 in the 100-freestyle and 1:45.54 in the 200-free…also posted a top time of 4:53.18 in the 500-freestyle.

2012-13: Earned All-America honors as part of two relay teams during his first season in the Miner program...earned his awards as part of S&T's 400- and 800-yard freestyle relay teams that finished in the top eight at the NCAA Division II Championships...also earned honorable mention All-America in three additional events, the 100-freestyle, 200-freestyle relay and 200-medley relay...took second in the 100-yard breaststroke and third in the 200-breast at the NSISC Championships...won the consolation finals in the 200-individual medley at the meet...posted the Miners' best time of the season in the 100-yard breaststroke of 56.29 seconds and 100-freestyle of 44.81 seconds, while recording a top mark of 2:00.45 in the 200-breaststroke.

PERSONAL: Son of Jana and Marijan Kerc....earned several national championships in the breaststroke, freestyle and individual medley events in his native Slovenia...ranks as one of the top 100 swimmers from Slovenia based on performances at meets in his country....majoring in psychology.
