Figures to contend for a starting spot in the secondary…saw playing time at safety and on special teams in 2007 and finished with 39 tackles, including 19 solo stops…also recorded two sacks and three tackles for losses as well as an interception against Central State…earned playing time both in the secondary and on special teams as a redshirt freshman in 2006…made 15 tackles on the year (including five initial stops) playing in all 11 games…earned first-team all-conference honors in the Gateway Athletic Conference as a linebacker after recording 72 tackles and two interceptions in his senior year in 2004...as a quarterback, he threw for 863 yards and six touchdowns during the 2004 season while also running for nine scores.
