High School: Tarvin lettered four years for the Wildcats, including helping lead BSHS to a runner-up finish during her freshman year. As a sophomore, she was named First Team All-District and Second Team All-Conference. As a junior she earned First team All-Conference and Second Team All-Region. Following her senior season, she earned many accolades including 2^nd Team All-State, First Team All-Region, All-District and All-Conference as well as being named to the Missouri All-State Team of the Mo-Kan All-Star game and was named the Kansas City Examiner Player of the Year. She completed her final season with 273 kills, hitting .338, and notched 253 digs, 14 service aces and 25 blocks. Tarvin plays club volleyball for the top ranked ASICS MAVS Volleyball Club in Kansas City.
