Biography

Had one assist during the 2012 season as he appeared in five games; made two starts along the way...recorded the assist in the season-ending victory over Drury...played in nine games in 2011 and took four shots, playing primarily as a wing defender...played in 14 games as a freshman and made five starts, all coming in the latter stages of the season...had five shots on the year...was a three-year starter and four-year member of the varsity squad at Blue Valley Northwest...earned second-team all-league honors following the 2009 season in the Eastern Kansas League...was part of a state championship team both at the high school level in 2006 and at the club level in 2008, while playing on Olympic Development Program teams in Kansas and Maine...was a four-time scholar-athlete in his league and was a first-team all-state, all-academic team selection in 2009.

Personal: Son of Joe and Margot Zembas...attended Blue Valley Northwest High School...majoring in electrical engineering.
