2012: Appeared in 16 games during his first season with the Miners, finishing with a 2.08 earned run average in 8 2/3 innings…held opposing hitters to a .188 batting average, the best mark on the staff, with righthanded hitters getting only one hit in 17 at-bats (.059)…struck out two hitters during the year.

AT NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA A&M: Pitched in eight games during the 2010 season, striking out five in five innings of work.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a second-team all-state selection at Creighton Prep High School, where he helped his team make back-to-back state tournaments…went 6-0 with a 1.21 earned run average as a senior with 47 strikeouts in 34 2/3 innings…ranked among the leaders in the state of Nebraska for wins and ERA in 2008…also earned all-metro honors in the Omaha area after the 2008 campaign…was 3-2 with a  3.79 ERA in his junior season with 19 strikeouts in 27 2/3 innings…posted a combined mark of 11-5 in two American Legion baseball seasons in Omaha with an ERA below two and 103 strikeouts in 109 1/3 innings…earned academic all-state honors in 2008 and graduated with highest honors from Creighton Prep…originally attended the University of Nebraska, but suffered an injury during the fall of his freshman year.
