Biography

2008-09: Started in 19 of the Miners’ 26 games during the season, finishing with averages of 5.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest…scored a career-high 18 points in a win over Missouri Baptist, one of two games in which he posted a double-double…had a career-best 16 boards in the MBU game and had his second double-double the following day against Central Bible…reached double figures in the scoring column five times…added a 17-point effort in the season opener against Harding…led the Miners with 31 blocked shots, with a season-high five against Harding…shot 46.7 percent from the field and 81.8 percent at the free throw line…made 16 consecutive free throws during one stretch.
AT THREE RIVERS: Played two seasons at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Mo., for legendary coach Gene Bess…averaged 7.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game last season to help the Raiders finish with a record of 29-8…shot 50.5 percent from the field and 73.2 percent at the line while finishing as his team’s third-leading rebounder…was also a force on the defensive end, averaging over two blocked shots per game a year ago and accumulating 128 blocked shots in 74 games
at Three Rivers.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Jackson High School, where he finished as his team’s top rebounder in his senior year…was named as the squad’s most outstanding player.

PERSONAL: Son of Dan and Cindy Redecker…majoring in civil engineering.
