Biography
2008-09: Saw time in 26 games during the season, averaging 1.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game…posted a season-high of four points against Missouri Baptist and Lincoln…had seven rebounds on three occasions, including back-to-back games against Rockhurst and Mid-Continent…also finished the season with 12 assists, 13 blocked shots and six steals…finished fourth on the team in blocks…had four blocked shots against Harding.
2007-08: Appeared in 26 games in his first season at S&T, averaging 3.2 points and a team-high 5.3 rebounds per game…ranked 13th in the GLVC in rebounding…scored a season-high of nine points in the Miners’ league opener at Saint Joseph’s…had 10 rebounds on three occasions, including twice against Robert Morris-Springfield…finished the season with 37 assists, 14 steals and 17 blocked shots, which ranked second on the team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 12 points, 18 rebounds, five blocked shots and two steals per game at Sumner Academy, earning first-team all-conference honors in the Kansas City Kansas Conference.
PERSONAL: Son of Carlener Slaughter....majoring in engineering.
