The Miners’ top returning receiver in terms of catches…caught 37 passes for 384 yards and three touchdowns last fall…had a season-high 11 catches at Southern Nazarene…had a 61-yard scoring reception at Saint Joseph’s…saw time at quarterback in two games and completed three of his five passes for 27 yards…finished as the Miners’ third-leading receiver with 50 catches for 789 yards and five scores in 2006…had at least three catches in every game with seven in victories over Southern Nazarene and Kentucky Wesleyan…also eclipsed the 100-yard mark in receptions in both games, posting 150 yards against SNU and 127 against KWC…caught the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter of the victory over SNU…had two touchdown catches in the win at Morehead State…finished fourth on the team with his 789 all-purpose yards…had two receptions for six yards as a freshman after redshirting in 2004...versatile player at the high school level who also played defensive back, wide receiver, kicker and punter...earned all-state honors at quarterback as well as first-team all-district and all-conference...was an honorable mention all-metro performer in 2003 after going 97 of 179 for 1,117 yards and 17 touchdowns; also ran for 966 yards for a district title team.
