Biography
2008-09: Was the Miners’ top runner in four of the team’s seven meets…placed fourth at the Miner Invitational with a time of 19:00…was also among the top 20 finishers in two other meets, the season opener at Washington University and the GLVC Championships where he was 17th in 26:38…was named as the team’s most valuable player in cross country…ran in the distance events during the track season, posting top times of 4:23.50 in the indoor mile, a team-best 3:58.84 in the 1,500-meters at the conference meet to finish third and 15:42.31 in the 5,000-meters.
HIGH SCHOOL: Will compete in both track and cross country at Missouri S&T...finished second at the Missouri Class 2 state cross country championships in 2007...had a time of 16:51 over five kilometers for a team that finished third at the state meet...also earned all-state honors in track as a state champion in the mile.
PERSONAL: Son of David and Susan Barry...attended School of the Osage...majoring in mining engineering.
