2011-12: Was a part of the Miners' third place team in the 200-yard freestyle relay, swimming the leadoff leg in that race...also a part of S&T's 400-freestyle relay that had its best time of the year of 3:02.39 to finsih fourth...also placed fifth individually in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46/29 seconds and sixth in the 200-freestyle with his top mark of the season of 1:42.58...scored in the 50-yard freestyle as well, where his best time was 21.14 seconds.

2010-11: Competed at the NCAA Division II Championships in three events...took part in the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle realy events, the latter of which placed second in the consolation finals and 10th overall...had top times of 21.43 seconds in the 50-freestyle, 46.66 in the 100-free and 1:43.50 in the 200-freestyle.

PERSONAL: Son of Jess and Janet Zieger...finished third in the 100-yard freestyle – the best solo finish by a St. Joseph Central swimmer ever a state meet -- and seventh in the 50-freestyle with a time of 21.63 seconds at the Missouri State Championships in 2009...posted a career-best time of 47.08 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle in the state meet, while swimming a 21.82 leg to lead off the 200-yard freestyle relay team’s effort at the meet...earned five medals at the state meet during his career, earning medals in the 50- and 100-free as a junior...set the conference record in the 50-yard freestyle...majoring in computer science.
