Biography
HIGH SCHOOL: Was named as his team’s most valuable player following the 2008 season as a distance runner, where he has competed at the last two state meets… earned all-conference honors in each of his first three years at the high school level, including winning league and district titles in the 3,200-meters, and has qualified for three state championship meets in cross country...posted top times of 2:04 in the 800-meters, 4:32 in the 1,600-meters, 10:08 in the 3,200-meters and 16:17 in the 5,000-meters; he also has a top time of 16:45 over five kilometers in cross country.
PERSONAL: Son of Greg and Chris Gibson…attended Jackson High School…majoring in civil engineering at Missouri S&T.
