Biography
One of three keepers vying for the starting job in 2010...in her junior campaign she played in eight games, making six starts... she was 3-3 with a goals against average of 1.96...she made a season-high six saves in a 1-0 loss to Southwest Baptist on Aug. 29...stopped four shots, including a critical one late to preserve S&T’s 2-1 win over Missouri-St. Louis on Oct. 4...as a sophomore she appeared in 11 contests, nine of those starts posting a 1.68 goals against average while making 44 saves...had a career-high 10 saves at Northern Kentucky on Sept. 21...missed four games due to injury...was part of one combined shutout…posted a 1.84 goals against average as a freshman with 67 saves…was part of three combined shutouts…made a season-high three saves on three occasions…had a 1.04 goals against average with 162 saves as a high school senior with 11 shutouts…recorded a 0.90 goals against average during the 2006 season and made 122 saves in over 1,200 minutes played…finished the year with 10 shutouts…earned second-team all-conference honors in the Southwestern Conference and was a second-team all-area pick by the Alton Telegraph…posted a 0.77 goals against average in 2005 with seven shutouts…also plays for the Metro United club team.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Robert Kurilla and Geri Brandmeyer…attended Edwardsville High School…majoring in petroleum engineering.
