Biography
Returns to the Miners after missing the second half of the 2011 season with an injury…had 19 tackles, including 12 solo stops, before the season-ending injury…added two tackles for a loss and two pass breakups from his linebacker position...played in all 11 games in 2010 and finished with 52 tackles...had 37 solo stops and 4.5 tackles for a loss...also had a forced fumble, four pass breakups and an interception that was returned 38 yards at Saint Francis...had six tackles at the linebacker position in 2009 with three solo stops…had a season-high three tackles against Saint Francis (Ind.)…selected as his team’s most valuable player in each of the last two seasons, was a second-team all-conference running back in both his junior and senior years…was a four-year member of the honor roll at his school…also competed in track and field and was a state qualifier as part of his school’s 4x100-meter relay team in the spring of 2008.
Personal: Attended Ruskin High School, where his coach was Charles Lee…son of Kimberly Chism…majoring in business.
