Biography
2010: Was the GLVC champion in the 400-meters for the second year in succession, posting a winning time of 57.77 seconds at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...placed second in the 200-meters at the GLVC outdoor meet with a seasonal-best time of 24.98 in the finals...also led off S&T's 4x400-meter relay team that finished as the league runner-up...had a top time of 57.48 seconds in the 400-meters...had the team's best time in the 200- and 400-meter dashes during the indoor season, with marks of 25.790 in the 200 and 58.39 in the 400...did not compete at the GLVC Indoor Championships due to an injury.
2009: Completed a standout season by earning All-America honors in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in San Angelo, Texas...posted an eighth place finish in the 400-meters at nationals after breaking the school record in the event at 54.99 seconds in the preliminaries...won four GLVC titles during the year, capturing titles in the outdoor 400-meter dash and in the outdoor 4x100-meter relay and both 4x400-meter relays...broke the school record in the 400 with her time of 55.15 seconds while winning the GLVC title; she would later break that mark at the national meet...also took second in the indoor 400-meters with a time of 58.08 seconds, outdoor 200-meters in 24.75 seconds and third in the indoor 200-meters in 26.25 seconds...earned first-team All-GLVC honors during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
2008: Earned second-team All-GLVC honors as a freshman…took fourth in the 400-meter dash at the conference’s indoor meet with a time of 59.44 seconds…was also part of the 4x200- and 4x400-meter relay teams that took second in their races at that meet…had the team’s best marks in three events during the indoor season, posting times of 8.19 in the 60-meters, 26.71 in the 200-meters and 59.44 in the 400…ran a 59.29 in the outdoor 400 that was the best by an S&T runner during the season…also had a 12.88 in the outdoor 100-meters and 26.03 in the 200.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a six-time medalist at the Kansas state championships and has also earned all-area status in her sport…finished second in the Kansas Class 3A state meet in the 400-meters with a time of 58.08 in the finals...also took third in the 100-meters with a time of 12.78 in the finals after going 12.63 in the preliminaries…also anchored the school’s 4x100-meter team that placed third at the 2007 state meet…also earned all-state awards in volleyball and basketball, including an all-state award at the state volleyball tournament.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Tim and Cindy Moore...attended Wellsville High School…majoring in chemistry.
