Biography
2011: Made nine pitching appearances as a freshman, recording a 1-1 record with one save and a 6.00 earned run average…earned his win in relief at Arkansas-Monticello, a day after getting a save in his first collegiate appearance…threw four innings of three-hit relief, striking out four along the way, in the second game of the doubleheader sweep for S&T at Drury in late April…also had four strikeouts in his win at Arkansas-Monticello.
HIGH SCHOOL: Hit .280 with 10 runs batted in during his junior season at Troy Buchanan, while posting a 3-3 record and 2.73 earned run average on the mound. He struck out nearly one batter per inning – 32 in 33 1/3 innings – while holding opposing hitters to a .194 batting average for a district championship squad…was an academic all-conference selection.
PERSONAL: Son of Lynn and Tammy Schrader…majoring in civil engineering.
