Will compete for the starting quarterback spot this fall...finished the 2010 campaign by completing 139-of-259 passes (53.7 percent) for 1,582 yards and 16 touchdowns...was a two-time GLFC "Offensive Player of the Week" in 2010...threw for a season-high 277 yards in the Miners' win at Saint Joseph's that gave S&T the GLFC championship...threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns, including the game-tying scoring pass with 33 seconds to play in regulation time, in S&T's overtime win over Kentucky Wesleyan...completed a season-high 26 passes in that contest...was 24-of-34 passing at Saint Joseph's...threw at least one touchdown pass in nine of the Miners' 11 games...appeared in four games behind center in 2009 and completed 17-of-34 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown (at Central Arkansas)…made one start at Drake…was redshirted in 2008 after being named as the Great Lakes Football Conference "Freshman of the Year" in 2007…became the team’s starting quarterback in the fifth game of the season and threw for 1,661 yards and 19 touchdowns over the final seven games…yardage total is the highest ever for a Miner freshman quarterback…completed 141 of 248 passes with only five interceptions…was 22-of-48 for 363 yards and four touchdowns in his first collegiate game against Arkansas-Monticello…threw for 325 yards at Southern Nazarene on a season-high 37 completions…earned GLFC "Player of the Week" honors after a 271-yard, five touchdown performance in a win over Central State…was a first-team all-conference and all-area selection following his senior year and was selected as his team’s most valuable player…also competes in track and was a state qualifier in the high jump, 110-meter hurdles and as part of the 4x400-meter relay team.
