PERU, Ind. -- Missouri S&T men's golf showcased its dominance and depth at the GLVC Championships, advancing to the championship match after a commanding semifinal victory before finishing runner-up in match play.

Semifinals – No. 1 Missouri S&T 4, No. 4 UIndy 1
The top-seeded Miners set the tone early in match play, taking down UIndy in convincing fashion, 4-1, to advance to the GLVC Championship match.

Missouri S&T controlled the round across the board, with multiple golfers building early leads and never looking back. Cole Komyati delivered one of the most dominant performances of the day, recording birdies on holes 1, 3, 10, and 16 to finish 7-up over his opponent.

Isaac To followed with a strong showing, carding birdies on holes 1, 9, 10, and 15 while finishing 6-up. Li Kasule (Stockholm, Sweden/Upplands-Brogymnasiet) also turned in a commanding performance, tallying four birdies through the front nine to win his match 7-up.

Rizq Adam Rohizam added another point for the Miners, finishing 4-up behind birdies on holes 3, 10, and 15, while Chayton Jordan (Rolla, MO/Rolla) contributed key birdies on holes 10 and 17 to round out a complete team effort.

Championship Match – No. 2 UMSL 4, No. 1 Missouri S&T 1
In a tightly contested championship match, the Miners battled throughout but ultimately fell to UMSL, 4-1.

Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School) secured the lone point for Missouri S&T, earning a hard-fought 1-up victory with birdies on holes 1, 7, and 10. To controlled much of the match, holding the lead on seven holes and tying seven others in a steady performance.

Across the remaining matches, the Miners were competitive throughout. Cole Komyati was locked in a battle, holding a lead through much of the round and sitting 1-up through 10 holes before momentum shifted late.
Chayton Jordan (Rolla, MO/Rolla) also stayed within striking distance, trading leads through the opening stretch and finishing with birdies on holes 1, 4, 7, and 18 in a narrow contest.

Rizq Adam Rohizam fought in a back-and-forth match through the first 13 holes, recording birdies on 3, 9, 11, and 14, while Li Kasule (Stockholm, Sweden/Upplands-Brogymnasiet) added early birdies on holes 2 and 3 as the Miners pushed UMSL throughout the round.

Despite the final result, Missouri S&T's performance throughout the tournament highlighted its strength, depth, and ability to compete at the top of the conference, earning a runner-up finish after entering match play as the No. 1 seed.
