ROLLA, Mo. — The Missouri S&T men's soccer team returns to conference play this week with a pair of matches, beginning Wednesday when the Miners host McKendree before traveling to Lewis on Saturday.
S&T enters the week with a 7-4 overall record and a 5-4 mark in GLVC play. The Miners are coming off a tough 2-1 loss against Indianapolis for Pink Out on Oct. 3.
S&T opens the week Wednesday against McKendree at 7:30 p.m.
The Bearcats enter Wednesday's matchup with a 2-6-2 overall record and a 1-4-2 mark in conference play. McKendree most recently played to a 1-1 draw against Lewis on Sept. 30.
McKendree is offensively led by Fredrik Thulin with five goals and 13 points. In goal, Filip Borka has made 17 saves this season.
Wednesday's contest will be the 28
th meeting between the Miners and Bearcats. S&T holds a 14-win record in the all-time series. The last time they met last season, McKendree took the win 2-1.
S&T will close out the week Saturday when it travels to Romeoville, Illinois, to face Lewis at 5:30 p.m. at Lewis Stadium.
The Flyers enter the week with a 2-7-2 overall record and a 1-6-2 mark in GLVC play. Lewis most recently played to a 3-1 loss on Oct. 3
rd against Lincoln.
Saturday's match will mark the 29
th meeting between S&T and Lewis. The last time they met on Oct. 12, 2025, the Miners dominated with a 4-0 win.
What's Next
Following this week's two GLVC contests, the Miners will remain on the road when they travel to Truman State for a 2 p.m. match Wednesday, Oct. 14.
