INDIANAPOLIS, IN  --  Missouri S&T Football grabbed all three honors for the Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week (POTW), with Jake Farrell (Scottsdale, AZ/Notre Dame Prep) earning Offensive POTW, Peyton Webster (Springfield, IL/Springfield) named Defensive POTW, and Layne Ryals (Louisburg, KS/Louisburg) picking up his second Special Teams POTW of the season.

Jake Farrell (Scottsdale, AZ/Notre Dame Prep) - Offensive Player of the Week
Farrell completed 33 of 47 passes for a career-high 402 yards and three touchdowns in the Miners' 42-40 victory at Southwest Baptist, becoming the first Miner to throw for over 400 yards in a game since 2018. His 402 passing yards is the second-most in a game by a GLVC quarterback this season and most by a quarterback in a conference game since Oct. 22, 2022. Farrell played a key role in the game-winning drive, going 3-for-4 for 54 yards and converting a 4th and 4 to set up the game-winning 23-yard field goal.

Peyton Webster (Springfield, IL/Springfield) - Defensive Player of the Week
Webster accounted for three turnovers on Saturday, picking off SBU's Jaron Saunders twice and recovering a fumble. He also picked up nine tackles, leading the Miners in solo tackles with five. Webster's interception in the first half set up a Miners touchdown that sent S&T into the locker room up 24-14, while his fumble recovery came on the final play of regulation as the Bearcats attempted a lateral on a kickoff return.

Layne Ryals (Louisburg, KS/Louisburg) - Special Teams Player of the Week
Ryals kicked the game-winning 23-yard field goal with two seconds remaining to give the Miners a 42-40 victory at Southwest Baptist. He has now made his last 10 field goal attempts, going 3-for-3 on Saturday, hitting from 21, 28, and 41 yards. Ryals now leads all GLVC kickers in scoring, with 40 points, and has the second-most points overall in the league.
