PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL  —  Missouri S&T is tied for 4th place at the NCAA Division II National Championship after round 1.

The Miners scored as low as -7 in the opening round, leaving them in second place through 10 holes. The back nine proved to be tougher than the front though, leading to a handful of bogeys that ended S&T's day at +1.

Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School) leads the Miners, ranking 12th individually with -1. He recorded 3 birdies and an eagle in the first 10 holes.

What's Next
S&T's starting five are set to tee off between 8:20am and 9:04am tomorrow, starting with Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson).
